What are events? One event = one page view processed (snippet or server-side). Over your cap, detection and tags keep working on your site — we just pause storing new analytics until the month resets or you upgrade. Your site never breaks.
What is a first-party domain? Serve the snippet and collect data from your own subdomain (e.g. vt.yourdomain.com via CNAME) — measurement that survives ad-blockers and strict browsers. Business and Scale plans.
Read-only vs read & write agents? On Free, your AI (via MCP or the built-in assistant) can see everything — analytics, events, classifications. Paid plans let it also act: create triggers and tags and publish versions.
